Far East Consortium (FEC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Faye Dasi-Sutton as ESG & Sustainability Manager for the market-leading property developer and its award-winning hotel brand, Dorsett Hospitality International. Faye will oversee the progression of the ESG pipeline for FEC’s property development arm and the Dorsett Hotel Group in her new role. She will be responsible for leading and executing the large-scale mixed-use property developer’s sustainability plans and implementing practices to drive the business towards carbon-neutral construction and operation.
Before joining FEC, Faye worked as Environmental Manager at the London Stock Exchange Group under EDP UK, where she worked on developing net zero decarbonization strategies for properties and data centres, managing action plans to achieve reduction targets, as well as identifying the risks of climate change and implementing appropriate mitigations. She is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience. During her career, she successfully implemented GHG carbon accounting systems across 70 countries with over 1,000 data points and developed several EHS system strategies to ensure consistency in approach, mitigate risk and promote continual improvement.
In her new position at FEC, Faye will be executing corporate social responsibility programmes to drive positive social and environmental change, such as leading FEC’s net zero strategy and elevating climate risk strategies. As well as enhancing publicly available information to promote transparency, she will be ensuring appropriate governance at all levels to promote ESG across the business.
Faye has a certificate in Environmental Management, a National Construction certificate and a National General certificate in occupational health and safety. Her wealth of knowledge and experience within the ESG field will help propel FEC towards its vision for a sustainable future.
Commenting on her new appointment, Faye said: “I am incredibly excited to be joining FEC at this time of growth and endeavour to embrace the extensive opportunities available to implement meaningful change. I am thoroughly looking forward to working with a brilliant team of professionals with aligned ambitions and goals, to develop, drive and deliver holistic ESG strategies and initiatives, minimising our impact on the physical environment, whilst promoting social opportunities within the communities we operate.”
