The Role

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Marketing & Business Analyst will have varying responsibilities to assist our Sales & Marketing team to provide data analysis and marketing support for all campaigns and workstreams, whilst working alongside internal and external stakeholders.


The duties of the Marketing & Business Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with key stakeholders across our Development, Project Management and Sales teams, as well as external agencies, to aid in the delivery of new development launches;
  • Produce regular reports for both internal and external stakeholders reporting on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis as required. Reports include sales, expenditure and completion forecasting as well as regular reports on the status of sales for the various London projects along with progress reports for banks and insurance providers;
  • To assist with the budget creation of new projects, including analysis of supplier costs v budget. Ongoing monitoring of the sales and marketing budgets across London schemes for the life of a project, with monitoring of and reports on high expenditure areas such as exhibition and event costs;
  • Manage sales and marketing budget lines through the internal Dynamics system to include include initiating and monitoring purchase orders for expenditure;
  • Assist the sales and marketing, project and development team in the new project appraisals and viability analysis;
  • Work alongside the commercial, development, project and finance teams to collate information as required for presentations and reports, along with data required by external consultants;
  • Track and monitor ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns;
  • Monitor PPC campaign spend and effectiveness through the monitoring of website traffic, social media engagement and email campaign tracking to ensure the marketing budget is spent effectively and we target our audience through successful campaigns;
  • Undertake market research as required to include mystery shopping, competitor analysis, market trends, demographics, pricing strategies and other relevant information for Sales & Marketing decision making and planning;
  • Work alongside sales agents and external consultancy teams to provide / anaylse benchmarking data and market trends;
  • Assist in the production of various reports, presentations as and when required for on going projects and in the lead up to new projects;
  • Support the Sales & Marketing department in carrying out various tasks as required, for example, assisting in the creation and coordination of marketing material for launches, ongoing marketing of the London schemes as well as FEC corporate marketing
  • Provide support for the on-site and head office sales teams, assisting with data to support bulk sale deals, pricing reviews etc.
  • Manage the Help to Buy funding allowance, track and record changes to our HTB funding changes on the Homes England and any new property sales initiatives which are being implemented by the banks / Government bodies;
  • Assist with the review and implementation of any new legislation which impacts the sales and marketing team;
  • Aid in the continued development and implementation of the customer management system (CMS) and provide feedback to improve functionality.

Personal Specifications

The successful candidate will possess the following experience and competencies:

  • Experience working as a Marketing Analyst, in a similar role or a graduate, educated to degree level in Marketing or an analytical subject such as Economics, Business or Maths;
  • Previous experience within the Property Development industry would be beneficial but it is not essential;
  • Demonstrable capability to ensure accuracy in manipulating, analysing and presenting data, with excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present research data in a clear and concise way to proactively impact sales outcomes;
  • Ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable data;
  • Ideally would have experience with PPC campaigns, Google Analytics, SEO practices and be comfortable with the processing / analysing of marketing data;
  • Hold a strong knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel and other relevant software packages;
