Far East Consortium invites potential residents to reveal of Mount Yard apartments and townhouses at MeadowSide, central Manchester

Show apartment and computer-generated images to be shown at launch event on Saturday, 6thApril 2019.

Developer Far East Consortium (FEC) is offering potential residents first sight of apartments and townhouses at Mount Yard, the latest phase of its £200m MeadowSide residential scheme in central Manchester.

Comprising one, two and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses with prices starting from £197,950, Mount Yard is the latest phase of the MeadowSide development of 756 homes across four residential blocks overlooking Angel Meadow Park, the largest green space in central Manchester.

FEC is inviting potential residents of Mount Yard to a launch event from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 6thApril at the MeadowSide marketing suite on Irk Street (M4 4JT) beside Angel Meadow Park, where they can tour a two-bed show apartment and see new computer-generated images (CGIs) and updated site details.

Attendees will be offered exclusive buyer incentives and complementary drinks including locally brewed beers and other treats.

Unlike the contemporary design of other residential blocks at MeadowSide, Mount Yard will feature traditional brick to complement surrounding mills and factory conversions, inspired by the area’s Victorian and industrial heritage. It will boast sustainable designs using recycled and reused materials combined with contemporary techniques, glass facades, red brick and steel.

Landscaped external areas will feature recycled concrete and timber, new walkways, masses of new planting, a lighting scheme and landform terraces for places to relax and enjoy views of the park.

The 12-storey Mount Yard is being deliveredby Greater Manchester-based Bardsley Construction, with completion due in late 2020.

Andrew Bradley-Nixon, senior sales and marketing manager at FEC, said: “The exciting reveal of our apartments and townhouses at Mount Yard on 6thApril will give potential occupiers first sight of our unique offering of city centre living against a leafy backdrop in central Manchester.

“Our commitment to ensuring all leaseholders at MeadowSide contribute an annual fee to the upkeep of Angel Meadow reflects its status as a core asset at the heart of the entire scheme.”

Also under construction at MeadowSide are The Gate and The Stile, offering a total of 286 one, two and three-bed apartments and penthouses with 24-hour concierge, gym, private lounge, terrace, glass facades, public realm and commercial units on the ground floors.

Due for completion in spring 2021, The Gate and The Stile are being delivered by a joint venture of Hertfordshire-based Westfields Construction and China Zhejiang Construction Group Hong Kong Ltd.

MeadowSide ‘spearheads’ the Northern Gateway, an investment partnership between FEC and Manchester City Council to deliver over 15,000 new homes across the north side of central Manchester over the next decade.

MeadowSide is being marketed jointly by property agents JLL and Cushman & Wakefield and anyone interested in securing a property should contact: info@meadowside-manchester.comor call 0161 509 7800.
