  • With 18 years of expertise in land, planning, development management and sales, Matt has a proven track record working with major developers. He is dedicated to forging strategic partnerships with the GLA, London boroughs, RP’s, and B2R funds, aligning himself with FEC’s long-term goals and vision and leading the dynamic London development team into a future of growth and success.

    Gavin is a Mancunian with over 15 years’ experience in development, construction and portfolio management. He joined FEC as Regional General Manager in 2016. Gavin’s role sees him overseeing the expansion of the organisation in the north of the UK. He is also responsible for the Angel Meadow and Northern Gateway projects which will bring over 15,000 homes to Manchester. Previously, as Operations Director for Beijing Construction, Gavin was instrumental in the introduction and establishment of the international conglomerate in the UK. He was also the first non-Chinese citizen to become a director of a Chinese State-Owned Entity.

    Nick joined FEC UK as Head of Projects with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, managing both residential, commercial and hotel projects from concept to completion. Nick was based in Hong Kong for a number of years working on some of the tallest and most iconic buildings on Hong Kong’s skyline. Prior to joining FEC, Nick worked for a blue chip multinational conglomerate, with prime residential property developments in London.

    Under his far-ranging role at FEC today, Nick is known for his hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail. He is instrumental in managing a multitude of stakeholders, and responsible for leading diverse teams to deliver the business’s ambitious developments to completion.

    An accomplished, and highly experienced legal professional, Mike joined FEC as Legal Counsel in 2019. He brings with him a valuable wealth of expertise including real estate acquisition, planning, construction, development, estate structuring, sales and lettings. Mike’s role sees him dealing with all aspects of real estate and hotel acquisition, development and management for all FEC’s UK and Europe operations. He also oversees general commercial agreements and all internal matters, engages and manages all external counsel, and works in close partnership with the development project leads and hotel management teams.

    Angela Walsh joined FEC UK as Director of Sales & Marketing in 2017 bringing over 25 years of property marketing experience to the fast-paced organisation. As one of the UK’s fastest growing leading developers, FEC is currently developing a range of large-scale mixed use projects across the country, most notably, Aspen at Consort Place in Canary Wharf, and Grade II* listed restoration of Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End as well as MeadowSide in Manchester and the Northern Gateway, the largest regeneration project outside of London.

    Angela is a critical member of FEC UK’s senior leadership team, overseeing the Sales & Marketing strategy; managing a roster of multidisciplinary Communication teams and leading the Brand-building and placemaking vision for some of the UK’s most highly anticipated developments. Prior to this role, Angela was Head of Sales & Marketing for Annington Property Ltd, the largest private property owner in the UK, having purchased 57,000 homes from the Ministry of Defence in 1996.

    Whilst Angela is from London, she also brings an international mindset to her role at FEC, working with a range of world-class experts from architects, surveyors, contractor partners and designers to bring complex projects to fruition.

    Andrew joined FEC in 2018 following 14 years in the property industry. Based in the Manchester office, Andrew heads up the regional sales and marketing division for FEC. This busy office is currently working on the 383-acre Northern Gateway, an investment partnership between FEC and Manchester City Council to deliver over 15,000 homes across seven neighbourhoods. Phase one is the group’s flagship northern development, MeadowSide, in Manchester City Centre, with two further developments New Cross Central and Victoria Riverside, coming soon. Andrew who has been instrumental in the Northern Gateway vision is an experienced Senior Sales & Marketing Director with expertise in real estate. Having lived and worked in Manchester most of his life, he has exceptional knowledge of the city’s property market and along with the rest of the team has been a key driver in MeadowSide’s success.

    Bruno joined FEC/DHI with over 15 years’ experience through all development work stages, from briefing and concept stages, through planning and design development to construction completion. His experience spans across a vast range of sectors, including governmental, academic, heritage, cultural, commercial and residential projects, and includes high rise buildings in Canary Wharf (including The Spire), various commercial refurbishments in London, multiple-award-winning residential schemes in London and Cambridge, a Cultural Centre in Abu Dhabi, and the Portuguese National Radio Television Studios and Headquarters in Lisbon. Bruno is currently overseeing Consort Place development in Canary Wharf and working with the development team in new opportunities.

    Scott joined FEC with over 20 years’ experience as a Developer Project Manager Chartered with the Institute of Building. Scott’s knowledge spans a number of sectors including academic, heritage, leisure, commercial and residential projects which includes hi-rise buildings across London. Along with a varied sector background, Scott also had a broad skill set including construction advisory, structural engineering technical knowledge, programming and project management, leading and managing design teams, project initiation, relocation and fit out management experience, feasibility studies and has delivered at all stages of RIBA.

    Scott joined FEC as a Senior Project Manager to lead on the Hornsey Town Hall project in 2020. His dedication and determination to deliver such a complex project saw him promoted to Project Director in 2023.

    Tom has over twenty years’ client-side development experience. Before joining FEC, he worked for Capital & Centric and held directorial roles at Sheffield Housing Company and Urban Splash, delivering some of the largest and most high-profile mixed-use regeneration projects in the region. In his current role as Project Director, Tom is responsible for the delivery and coordination of FEC’s Northern Gateway Joint Venture with Manchester City Council, a project that will deliver up to 15,000 new homes over the next fifteen to twenty years on a three-hundred-and-ninety-acre site in North Manchester. Tom is excited about implementing the Northern Gateway plans, delivering positive change for his home city.

    Hilary is currently Project Director responsible for the delivery of the initial residential development plots at Manchester’s Northern Gateway, a project that will deliver 15,000 new homes over the next fifteen to twenty years. Hilary has over twelve years’ experience in the delivery and project management of large-scale planning applications, Environment Impact Assessments and masterplans. Hilary previously worked at Manchester-based planning consultancy, HOW Planning, and led their environmental planning team. Since joining FEC, she has played a key role in the development of the Northern Gateway Masterplan and Strategic Regeneration Framework, working in partnership with Manchester City Council as well as numerous local stakeholders and interest groups.

    Kiah Khing has been leading the commercial team for FEC since February 2018. He is responsible for overseeing the commercial aspect of London projects and comes with over 20 years of European and UK experience in residential, commercial, justice, sports and leisure projects having worked in companies such as Hutchison Property Group and Capita. Before joining the developer side, he was team leader of a property consultancy to delivery several keys projects within the establishment. He is also working closely with our project and finance team to shape up the procurement process, finance strategy and internal policies.

    Anthony joined FEC in September 2019, and has over 15 years’ experience in Residential, PBSA and Commercial sectors throughout the UK. Prior to his move to FEC, Anthony was Head of the Commercial team at Select Property Group. In his current role, Anthony provides a commercial focus to the development team. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining commercial best practice and financial control, ensuring FEC are able to mitigate risk exposure and drive value through all stages of residential project delivery. His current focus is on developing strategic partnerships for the successful delivery of the Northern Gateway estate.

    Having joined FEC as a consultant in 2017, Nick was appointed Delivery Director in 2019. He has over 19 years experience in construction, delivering projects across residential, leisure, infrastructure and retail. Since 2005, he has been a chartered member of the RICS.

    His current role spans the whole FEC project portfolio, with a particular emphasis on the MeadowSide scheme in Manchester, which he has managed since its inception. He hopes to keep adding more projects to the FEC portfolio, building on the group’s reputation as a successful, sustainable, socially conscious developer.

    Aoibhinn joined FEC as HR Manager in April 2019, she is responsible for leading FEC’s Human Resources Strategy and defining best practise across all areas of HR, including Compensation & Benefits, Policy, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Employee Relations. Aoibhinn holds a Masters in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. Prior to joining FEC, Aoibhinn worked in industries including Transport, Engineering, Facilities Management, Defence and Utilities and has experience in leading HR Shared Services, Organisational Design, Employee Relations, Talent Management and Learning & Development. Her current focus is the development of an effective HR Infrastructure, designed to support business growth and employee engagement.

    Rebecca is a highly adept and strategically-minded international hospitality professional with over 20 years’ hospitality and tourism experience. She has been part of Dorsett Hospitality International since 2006, when she was appointed General Manager of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong, one of Hong Kong’s pioneering boutique hotels. Alongside her role as Head of Hotels, Rebecca is Senior Vice President of Sales in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. She oversees all hotel operations to drive performance and results in these locations, while also supporting DHI’s growth in additional regions.

    Faye joined FEC as ESG and Sustainability Manager in November 2022, she is responsible for developing and leading FEC’s ESG and Sustainability Strategy. This includes defining best practice across all areas of our environmental management, employer of choice, cultivating community and placemaking values. Prior to joining FEC, Faye worked in industries including Financial Services, Waste Management, Construction and Manufacturing and has experience in developing and leading the implementation of governance structures, tooling solutions and net zero ambitions and action plans. Her current focus is the development and implementation of effective ESG policies and procedures, designed to support business growth, reducing carbon within our operations and implementation of social values across our projects.
