Far East Consortium (FEC) has announced the launch of ‘The Lofts’, a new collection of individually designed duplex apartments as part of the restoration and regeneration of the Grade II listed Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End, London. Designed by award-winning Make Architects, the apartments combine modern living spaces with the preserved art deco features of the original building.
Launching on Saturday 19th October, The Lofts offer a unique opportunity to live within one of London’s most historic buildings. A release of only four 2-bedroom duplex apartments, with all principle bedrooms benefiting from an ensuite and prices starting from £799,950.
The apartments feature high-specification interiors, with details including skylights, private terraces, mid-tone chevron timber floors and Siemens kitchen appliances, offering a blend of contemporary style with historical charm. Residents will also benefit from amenities such as landscaped communal gardens, a 24-hour concierge service and secure bike storage.
The development forms part of FEC’s broader regeneration project at Hornsey Town Hall, which also includes a new arts centre, co-working space, and aparthotel operated by Dao by Dorsett, alongside a rooftop bar and terrace.
Matthew Taylor, Regional General Manager at FEC London, said: “The Lofts collection is an excellent example of how we can sensitively restore historic buildings while delivering modern, high-quality homes. The Town Hall holds significant cultural value to the local community, and we are committed to preserving its character while ensuring it continues to serve as a vibrant community hub.
“By blending the heritage of the original building with the advantages of contemporary living we wanted to give our residents a truly unique lifestyle offering. The Lofts provide just that—beautifully restored apartments that honour the building’s history while offering state-of-the-art design and convenience. Residents will enjoy carefully crafted interiors, communal spaces, and a lifestyle that connects them to the heart of Crouch End’s cultural scene.”
Hornsey Town Hall is set to become a cultural destination for Crouch End, offering spaces for select events, performances and exhibitions. The new Town Hall Square, located in front of the development, will also host cultural activities, creating a dynamic area for both residents and visitors.
Situated in the heart of Crouch End, The Lofts is surrounded by local restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues, and benefits from well-connected transport links to central London.
